A BIT OF BACKGROUND

We have always had a love of dogs, and even had a few Labs throughout our childhood. When our oldest was young and we were both working, our family friend who was a breeder watched him. She had a few litters in the few years she watched him and we loved getting to spend time with the puppies and the adults. All of her dogs had the most wonderful temperament and we knew then that we wanted to be more involved with the breed. Since both of us were working we did not feel we had time for a puppy, showing, or breeding. 

As soon as we decided that I would not go back to work after having our second son, the search began for an "English Style" Lab with a great Temperament and Pedigree. (Our family friend had retired from breeding.)

We searched and searched for about a year before we found our beautiful Lola. We know first hand how hard it can be to find the perfect puppy. We jumped right in to the testing needed and teaching her all that is needed to participate in shows. She is how we got into the dog world. She has the perfect temperament and was a fantastic mother. She is since retired from breeding but is the honorary grandma dog to all out litters.

After acquiring a lot of information about the breeding process, we decided to do our part in preserving it, which led to our small hobby farm. We have sought and continue to seek information from many reputable breeders and we couldn't be more grateful for all the help and information we have received along the way.

We are very busy, raising our children and taking care of all the animals on our little ranch, as well as giving back to the youth in the community we live in. We think it's important to be involved in the sports and activities our kids participate in and choose to help coach and lead programs they participate in. This gives us an advantage in socializing our dogs as we have so many opportunities to have them interact in our community and with small children. We think this is part of what makes our breeding program so special. While you won't find many pictures including our kids on our website, trust that they are here helping, training, and loving on all the dogs and puppies that step foot in our home. We believe in a well rounded dog and children are very much a part of that process. Everyone in our family participates in rearing our litters and we couldn't ask for better little helpers!
